Chris Peterson is a founder and Vice President of Brazos 1031 Exchange Company. After growing up in Bryan, Texas, Chris graduated from Wheaton College and the University of Texas School of Law. Besides his position with Brazos 1031 Exchange Company, Chris is the owner of Peterson Law Group, a estate planning, elder law, probate and business planning law firm in Bryan-College Station, Texas.
Besides practicing law and conducting 1031 exchanges, Chris is active in numerous activities. Currently, he serves as an Elder at Westminster Presbyterian Church and on the Wheaton College Alumni Association Board of Directors. He previously served on the Boards of Bryan Texas Utilities, the Research Valley Partnership, and the Bryan-Brazos County Economic Development Foundation. He is also a former elected official having served as President of Board of Trustees of Bryan ISD. He has also served on numerous nonprofit boards, and has coached little league and his kids’ soccer teams.
Chris is married to his college sweetheart and they have 3 children.
